Woody Wander
Meet Woody Wander, a humorous fictional character, as he attempts to teach the Old Testament. In this piece entitled "The Oldest Restaurant," this ill-informed, but well-intentioned parishioner, willing to step out for Jesus, takes you through the book (or is it menu?) like you have never heard it before.
With a very real “read your Bible” message, you will chuckle at Woody’s elementary understanding of the Word, all the way from Gene Is A Sissy to the Italian MalachI. But, oh, how much fun you will have at this visit to the Oldest Restaurant. (Especially for adults and those familiar with the Bible).
- Scripture Reference: Nehemiah 8:12
Woody is back in "Christmas with Woody." Enjoy the Christmas season with Woody Wander. As the well-intentioned teacher from The Oldest Restaurant gets things a little confused again. See how the ark ends up in Bethlehem and the reindeer somehow appear in the gospels.
This fun and entertaining offering is intended for all ages and works well for a short holiday program. The stories, songs, dance and humor will leave you thoroughly entertained, but quite aware of the real "reason for the season."
- Scripture Reference: Isaiah 7:14

Will Rogers
|
Will Rogers was a humorist, a writer, a roper, a cowboy, a philosopher. Indeed Will was many things, but most of all he loved his fellow man. And thus his inclusion in this ministry.
I suspect Will would have liked the book of John. He spent a lifetime talking about the human race and I know he would totally agree with John 15:12 - ‘This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you’ or to use Will’s words, ‘I never met a man I didn’t like.
This piece, "Never Met A Man," is a light and funny and gentle characterization for teens and adults that embraces that age old command, “love thy neighbor as thyself.
- Scripture References: John 15:12 & Galatians 5:13-14

Super Noah
|
Have you ever questioned God? Maybe even biblical giants like Noah at first questioned their calling. In this humorous short piece, "Super Noah," the modern day Noah faces his day of reckoning with much doubt.
See how this Christian giant at first challenged God's plan for his life but later realized by listening great rewards come from obeying God. A fun piece for all ages with a "you CAN do it" message.
- Scripture Reference: Hebrews 11:7
